a research project investigating the relationships between tecnology, cultural identity, and and comuntiy empowerment. The objetive is to articulate a framework for "Cultural Civic Computing" and to develop experimental environments and tools enabling "open participative culture" in Los Angeles.

Healthy parks, Schools, and Communities
Healthy Parks, Schools, and Communities is the work of The City Project working with Remapping L.A., Judy Baca and spark (Social and Public Art Resource Center), the Alianza de los Pueblos del Rio, and others. The project promotes a collective vision for a comprehensive and coherent web of parks, schools, rivers, beaches, forests, and transit to trails that enables human health, a better environment, and economic vitality for all, and reflects the cultural diversity of Los Angeles.
