Some Thoughts Most of the cosmopolitan cities share similar characteristics. The Urban attraction and more job opportunities are important factors that drawing immigrants from different ethnicities and back ground. Looking at LA and its history in the last few decades proves the idea that the city contains large number of different cultures. It has been growing fast through its branches but still very young in its roots. So immigrants tend to stick to their own ethnic groups as they couldn't identify themselves with this city; their bond even has been effected the city visual appearance including, China town, Little Tokyo, Glendale (Armenian’s spot), Westwooooood and Irvine (Iranian's territory) and so forth. There have been many conflicts between different ethnicities in LA, as each group consider themselves superior than the other. The point is that how we can improve the relationship between different ethnicities in LA, as they still share many similar interests.

• Improving the cultural values in LA. • What are the basic elements that help to bring people together? • Do cosmopolitan cities convey nostalgia, anxiety and fear?
