I have been thinking of doing a cinema verite exercise with the new phones. By using all of its resources and applications, a new cinema verite could be experimented. We should be divided into groups of 5-7 people and we pick a family or a certain scenario or subject matter that would be accessible and desirable to engage with. Then, each of the members of the group will pick a specific singular element to focus on. We should record everything, from the start, their first glimpse of the day, waking up, to their breakfast table, to their driving, to their eating, to their interactions with others. Then this same group will edit in a separate computer, to ultimately put it back together on an individual monitor next to the rest. So depending in how big is each group, there will be a number of different stories that ultimately will yield to a single multi screened one.
