Featured speaker, with Prof. Jose Moya and Prof. Carlos Torres
This roundtable will be an opportunity to hear and see firsthand the politically dramatic events that took place in Buenos Aires last December. Professors Wagmister and Torres were in the city during that period, and the former was able to videotape the extraordinary turnout of the populace into the street to protest the govenment pre-Christmas limitation on bank withdrawals. This video will be shown followed by the presentation of the historical background to these events and a discussion of the present and possible future of Argentina.
