proposes a collective play-based performative process to interrogate and examine Los Angeles (LA) and the nature of our behaviors with-in-it. Inspired by the praxis of the Situationist International (SI), GC invites to disrupt the hegemonic power of capital-driven urbanism and to re-fresh our understanding of LA by exploring civic relationships through play.

enGage ludiCity

is a participatory reflexive playscape (PRP) in constant state of flux and collective re-definition. It integrates the internet, mobile communications, geographic information systems (GIS), interpretive databases and data visualization strategies to bridge personal and public space, individual and collective experience, and physical and historical condition, into a rhizomatic generative urban drift.
